This Supplier Code of Conduct explains the standards DonCapi™ expects from suppliers, manufacturers, fulfilment partners, print-on-demand providers, dropshipping partners, packaging suppliers, couriers, agencies, contractors, creators, collaborators and other business partners.
DonCapi™ is building a premium clothing and lifestyle brand based on quality, confidence, customer trust and responsible business practice.
We expect the people and businesses we work with to act lawfully, honestly and responsibly.
This Supplier Code of Conduct should be read together with our Modern Slavery & Ethical Sourcing Statement, Sustainability Statement, Our Quality, Product Safety & Recall Policy, Brand Protection & Anti-Counterfeit, Wholesale, Suppliers & Partnerships, and Terms and Conditions.

In this Supplier Code of Conduct, “DonCapi™”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to DonCapi™.
“Supplier” means any business or person supplying products, services, fulfilment, manufacturing, production, packaging, logistics, technology, marketing, creative work or other support to DonCapi™.
2. Purpose of This Code
This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum standards we expect from suppliers and partners.
It covers:
- legal compliance;
- modern slavery and forced labour;
- child labour;
- worker treatment;
- health and safety;
- wages and working time;
- discrimination and harassment;
- product quality;
- product safety;
- counterfeit goods;
- environmental claims;
- packaging;
- data protection;
- confidentiality;
- anti-bribery;
- subcontracting;
- reporting concerns;
- corrective action.
DonCapi™ may review, update or expand this code as the brand grows.
3. Legal Compliance
Suppliers must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to their business, products, services, workers and supply chain.
This may include laws relating to:
- employment;
- wages;
- working hours;
- health and safety;
- modern slavery;
- child labour;
- product safety;
- product labelling;
- consumer protection;
- data protection;
- intellectual property;
- anti-bribery;
- tax;
- customs;
- advertising;
- environmental claims;
- packaging and waste.
Suppliers must not ask DonCapi™ to participate in unlawful, misleading or unsafe activity.
4. Modern Slavery, Forced Labour and Human Trafficking
DonCapi™ has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and exploitation.
Suppliers must not use, support or tolerate:
- forced labour;
- bonded labour;
- debt bondage;
- trafficked labour;
- prison labour used unlawfully or exploitatively;
- servitude;
- withholding of identity documents;
- recruitment fee exploitation;
- coercion;
- threats;
- restriction of movement;
- abusive working conditions;
- unlawful wage deductions;
- exploitation of vulnerable workers.
Suppliers must take reasonable steps to ensure modern slavery is not taking place in their own business or supply chains.
5. Child Labour
Suppliers must not use child labour.
Suppliers must comply with applicable minimum age laws and must not employ children in a way that harms their health, safety, education, development or wellbeing.
Young workers, where lawfully employed, must be protected from hazardous work, excessive hours and unsafe conditions.
6. Wages, Benefits and Working Time
Suppliers must comply with applicable wage, benefit and working time laws.
Workers should be paid lawfully and on time.
Suppliers must not use unlawful deductions, unpaid forced overtime, hidden fees or unfair payment practices.
Working hours should comply with applicable law and should not be excessive, abusive or unsafe.
7. Freedom, Dignity and Respect
Suppliers must treat workers with dignity and respect.
Suppliers must not tolerate:
- physical abuse;
- verbal abuse;
- threats;
- intimidation;
- harassment;
- sexual harassment;
- discrimination;
- bullying;
- retaliation;
- degrading treatment;
- unsafe disciplinary practices.
Workers should be able to raise concerns without fear of punishment.
8. Equality and Non-Discrimination
Suppliers must not discriminate unlawfully.
Employment and work-related decisions should not be based on protected or irrelevant characteristics such as:
- race;
- colour;
- nationality;
- ethnic origin;
- religion or belief;
- sex;
- sexual orientation;
- gender reassignment;
- pregnancy or maternity;
- marriage or civil partnership;
- disability;
- age;
- trade union activity;
- political opinion where protected by law;
- other status protected by applicable law.
9. Health and Safety
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment.
This may include:
- safe buildings;
- safe machinery;
- fire safety;
- emergency exits;
- first aid;
- protective equipment;
- training;
- clean working conditions;
- safe storage of chemicals;
- safe handling of fabrics, inks, dyes and packaging;
- accident reporting;
- risk assessment;
- compliance with local safety laws.
Suppliers must not ignore serious risks to workers, customers or the public.
10. Product Safety
Suppliers must provide products that are safe, lawful and suitable for normal and reasonably expected use.
For clothing and accessories, suppliers should consider:
- fabric safety;
- flammability where relevant;
- small parts;
- cords and drawstrings;
- choking hazards;
- sharp trims;
- loose buttons or decorations;
- chemical safety;
- skin irritation risks;
- accurate fibre information;
- correct care labels;
- packaging safety;
- children’s product rules where relevant.
Suppliers must tell DonCapi™ immediately if a product may be unsafe or non-compliant.
11. Product Quality
DonCapi™ is a quality-focused brand.
Suppliers should provide products that meet agreed standards for:
- fabric quality;
- fit;
- sizing consistency;
- stitching;
- print quality;
- embroidery quality;
- colour consistency;
- durability;
- finishing;
- packaging;
- accurate product information;
- customer-ready presentation.
Suppliers should not substitute products, materials, packaging or fulfilment methods without telling DonCapi™ where the change may affect quality, safety, description, delivery or customer experience.
12. Accurate Product Information
Suppliers must provide accurate product information.
This may include:
- product name;
- product description;
- materials;
- fibre content;
- country of origin where required or available;
- sizes;
- measurements;
- colours;
- care instructions;
- safety warnings;
- production time;
- delivery time;
- return restrictions;
- stock availability;
- sustainability features;
- certifications where claimed.
Suppliers must not provide false, misleading or exaggerated information.
13. No Counterfeit Goods
Suppliers must not provide counterfeit, fake, copied or infringing goods.
Suppliers must not supply products that:
- copy another brand’s logo;
- misuse trade marks;
- infringe copyright;
- infringe design rights;
- use unauthorised artwork;
- imitate branded products in a misleading way;
- contain fake labels, tags or packaging;
- are marketed as genuine when they are not.
DonCapi™ may remove products and end supplier relationships if counterfeit or infringing goods are suspected.
14. Intellectual Property
Suppliers must respect intellectual property rights.
Suppliers must not:
- use DonCapi™ designs without permission;
- sell DonCapi™ designs to other customers;
- produce extra unauthorised units;
- use DonCapi™ branding outside agreed purposes;
- copy third-party artwork;
- use unlicensed fonts, graphics, music or images;
- misuse customer content;
- supply products that infringe another person’s rights.
Any artwork, logo, pattern, slogan, product design or creative work supplied to DonCapi™ must be original, properly licensed, or lawfully usable.
15. Environmental Responsibility
DonCapi™ expects suppliers to operate responsibly and avoid unnecessary waste where practical.
Suppliers should consider:
- efficient material use;
- reducing avoidable waste;
- responsible packaging;
- lawful waste disposal;
- safe chemical handling;
- energy and water impact where relevant;
- reduced overproduction where possible;
- accurate environmental information;
- compliance with applicable environmental laws.
DonCapi™ does not expect perfection, but we do expect honesty and improvement.
16. Environmental and Sustainability Claims
Suppliers must not provide misleading environmental claims.
Claims such as “eco-friendly”, “sustainable”, “green”, “carbon neutral”, “organic”, “recycled”, “plastic-free”, “ethical”, “biodegradable” or similar must be accurate, specific and supported by evidence.
Suppliers should be able to provide evidence for environmental claims, such as:
- material certificates;
- recycled content information;
- organic certifications;
- packaging specifications;
- production information;
- chain-of-custody documentation;
- carbon calculation method, where relevant;
- supplier declarations.
DonCapi™ may refuse to use environmental claims that are vague, unsupported or risky.
17. Packaging Standards
Packaging suppliers and fulfilment partners should provide packaging that is:
- suitable for the product;
- protective;
- clean;
- lawful;
- accurately described;
- not excessive where avoidable;
- safe for customers;
- free from misleading environmental claims;
- consistent with DonCapi™ brand expectations where agreed.
Packaging should not create unnecessary safety risks, especially for children.
18. Subcontracting
Suppliers must not subcontract DonCapi™ work in a way that creates hidden risk or reduces compliance.
Where subcontracting affects product quality, safety, labour standards, delivery or customer experience, DonCapi™ should be informed.
Suppliers remain responsible for the actions of subcontractors involved in DonCapi™ products or services.
Hidden subcontracting that creates modern slavery, product safety, counterfeit, quality or legal risk may result in termination of the supplier relationship.
19. Transparency and Records
Suppliers should keep accurate records relating to DonCapi™ products and services.
Records may include:
- product specifications;
- purchase orders;
- batch details;
- production records;
- supplier invoices;
- fulfilment records;
- delivery tracking;
- quality checks;
- safety reports;
- complaint records;
- certification documents;
- subcontractor information where relevant.
Suppliers should provide reasonable information when DonCapi™ needs it to investigate quality, safety, legal, customs, consumer, ethical or customer support issues.
20. Inspections, Samples and Product Checks
DonCapi™ may request samples or information before listing, promoting or scaling a product.
Samples may be reviewed for:
- product quality;
- sizing;
- fit;
- materials;
- print quality;
- embroidery quality;
- packaging;
- safety;
- care instructions;
- delivery time;
- customer presentation;
- brand fit.
Supplying samples does not guarantee that DonCapi™ will list, buy or continue selling the product.
21. Delivery and Fulfilment Standards
Fulfilment partners, warehouses, dropshipping suppliers and couriers should provide reliable and accurate fulfilment.
This includes:
- correct item dispatch;
- correct size and colour;
- safe packaging;
- accurate tracking;
- timely dispatch;
- clear handling of delays;
- proper return handling;
- protection of customer details;
- communication about stock or fulfilment problems;
- no unauthorised substitutions;
- no misleading dispatch information.
Delivery and fulfilment problems should be reported quickly.
22. Customer Data and Privacy
Suppliers may receive customer information only where needed to fulfil orders, handle returns, process delivery, provide customer support, or perform agreed services.
Suppliers must protect customer information and must not:
- use customer data for their own marketing;
- sell customer data;
- share customer data without permission;
- contact customers unnecessarily;
- keep customer data longer than needed;
- expose customer data through poor security;
- use customer data outside agreed purposes.
Suppliers must comply with applicable data protection laws.
23. Confidentiality
Suppliers may receive confidential information from DonCapi™.
This may include:
- product plans;
- designs;
- artwork;
- pricing;
- supplier terms;
- customer information;
- marketing plans;
- collection ideas;
- business strategy;
- technical information;
- login or system information.
Suppliers must keep confidential information secure and must not disclose or misuse it without permission.
24. Anti-Bribery and Corruption
Suppliers must not offer, request, give or accept bribes, kickbacks, hidden commissions or improper benefits connected to DonCapi™ business.
Suppliers must not attempt to improperly influence DonCapi™ decisions through gifts, payments, favours or personal benefits.
Reasonable business courtesies may be acceptable where lawful, modest and transparent.
25. Conflicts of Interest
Suppliers should disclose any conflict of interest that may affect their relationship with DonCapi™.
This may include:
- personal relationships;
- financial interests;
- competing business interests;
- hidden ownership;
- undisclosed commissions;
- supplier relationships that may affect impartiality.
Transparency helps protect trust.
26. Sanctions, Trade and Customs
Suppliers must comply with applicable sanctions, trade, export, import and customs rules.
Suppliers must not ask DonCapi™ to:
- falsify customs documents;
- understate product values;
- mislabel products;
- evade duties or taxes;
- ship prohibited goods;
- breach sanctions;
- provide false origin information.
Customs and product information must be accurate.
27. Reporting Concerns
Suppliers, workers, customers or third parties can report concerns about supplier conduct.
Concerns may include:
- modern slavery;
- unsafe products;
- counterfeit goods;
- poor working conditions;
- child labour;
- misleading product claims;
- environmental claim concerns;
- product safety issues;
- unauthorised subcontracting;
- data misuse;
- bribery or corruption.

28. No Retaliation
Suppliers should not retaliate against workers, contractors, customers or others who raise genuine concerns.
Retaliation may include:
- dismissal;
- threats;
- intimidation;
- reduced hours;
- harassment;
- punishment;
- blacklisting;
- wage deductions;
- unfair treatment.
DonCapi™ takes retaliation concerns seriously.
29. Corrective Action
If a supplier breaches this code, DonCapi™ may request corrective action.
Corrective action may include:
- explanation;
- evidence;
- product correction;
- process improvement;
- improved labelling;
- supplier training;
- replacement product;
- refund support;
- removal of product listing;
- improved data protection;
- improved packaging;
- disclosure of subcontractors;
- independent verification;
- ending the supplier relationship.
The appropriate action will depend on the seriousness of the issue.
30. Serious Breaches
Serious breaches may lead to immediate suspension or termination.
Serious breaches may include:
- modern slavery;
- child labour;
- unsafe products;
- counterfeit goods;
- serious data breach;
- bribery;
- deliberate deception;
- repeated quality failures;
- hidden subcontracting creating serious risk;
- refusal to cooperate with safety investigations;
- retaliation against workers;
- unlawful conduct.
DonCapi™ may also report serious issues to relevant authorities where appropriate.
31. Continuous Improvement
DonCapi™ is a growing brand. We expect our supplier standards to improve over time.
Future improvements may include:
- supplier questionnaires;
- supplier declarations;
- sample testing;
- product audits;
- improved packaging requirements;
- stronger ethical sourcing checks;
- sustainability evidence requests;
- written supplier agreements;
- clearer product traceability;
- stronger customer feedback monitoring.
Suppliers should be willing to improve with us.
32. Supplier Acknowledgement
By working with DonCapi™, suppliers are expected to understand and follow this Supplier Code of Conduct.
DonCapi™ may ask suppliers to confirm acceptance of this code in writing.
Failure to follow this code may affect whether DonCapi™ continues the business relationship.
