DonCapi™ wants customers to shop with confidence. Prices, sales and promotional claims should be clear, fair, accurate and not misleading.

If DonCapi™ is not VAT registered, we should not describe prices as VAT-inclusive or issue VAT invoices.
If DonCapi™ becomes VAT registered, website pricing, invoices, receipts and tax settings should be updated.

8. Sale Prices
Sale prices may be offered from time to time.
A sale price should be genuine and not misleading.

9. “Was / Now” Pricing
Where DonCapi™ uses “was / now” pricing, the “was” price should be a fair reference price.
A “was” price may be based on a previous selling price or another lawful and reasonable reference point.
DonCapi™ aims not to use inflated, artificial or unrealistic reference prices.
ASA guidance says marketers using savings claims must make sure they do not mislead customers by falsely claiming a price advantage.
10. “Up To” Savings Claims
DonCapi™ may use claims such as:
- “up to 20% off”;
- “up to 50% off selected styles”;
- “save up to £30”;
- “up to half price”.
Where we use “up to” claims, the claim should fairly represent the promotion.
Not every product will receive the maximum saving.
The ASA says “up to” and “from” claims should represent the true overall picture and should not exaggerate the availability of the maximum saving or lowest price.
11. Discount Codes
Discount codes may offer:
- percentage discounts;
- fixed amount discounts;
- free delivery;
- bundle savings;
- creator discounts;
- newsletter discounts;
- first-order discounts;
- loyalty rewards;
- referral offers.
Discount codes must usually be entered before completing checkout.

12. Discount Code Errors
If a discount code is applied incorrectly because of a technical error, misuse, fraud or obvious mistake, DonCapi™ may cancel the code, correct the discount, cancel the order or contact the customer.
We are not required to honour obvious discount errors where it would be unreasonable or misleading to do so.
If payment has already been taken and the order is cancelled because of an obvious error, we will refund the amount due.
13. Automatic Discounts
Some discounts may apply automatically at checkout.
Automatic discounts may depend on:
- order value;
- selected products;
- selected collections;
- customer account;
- location;
- campaign period;
- basket contents;
- loyalty status;
- referral eligibility.
If an automatic discount does not apply, check the promotion terms before completing checkout.
14. Bundle Offers

These claims should be based on reasonable stock or availability information.
DonCapi™ should not use false scarcity messages to pressure customers.
Stock may still change quickly, especially where products are limited, supplier-direct, pre-order, made-to-order, or fulfilled by third parties.
20. “Exclusive” Claims
DonCapi™ may describe a product, offer, drop or collection as exclusive only where there is a fair basis for doing so.
“Exclusive” may mean:
- exclusive to DonCapi.com;
- exclusive to a collection;
- exclusive for a limited time;
- exclusive to members;
- exclusive to a creator campaign.
The meaning should be clear where relevant.
21. Product Availability
Product availability may change quickly.
This may happen because of:
- limited stock;
- supplier stock changes;
- size sell-outs;
- colour sell-outs;
- fulfilment partner delays;
- discontinued products;
- technical stock errors;
- pre-order limits;
- made-to-order capacity.
Adding a product to your basket does not usually reserve it unless checkout is completed and the order is accepted.
22. Pre-Orders and Made-to-Order Pricing

If a creator receives payment, commission, gifted products, discounts, store credit or other benefit, that relationship should be disclosed clearly.

27. Reviews in Advertising
Customer reviews, star ratings and testimonials used in advertising should be genuine and not misleading.
DonCapi™ should not use fake reviews, hide negative reviews in a misleading way, or present incentivised reviews as independent reviews.
GOV.UK says fake reviews and hidden incentivised reviews are banned under newer consumer protection rules.

28. Comparison Claims
DonCapi™ may make comparison claims only where they are fair, accurate and supported.
Comparison claims may include statements about:

DonCapi™ should not make misleading comparisons with competitors or other brands.
29. “Best”, “Premium” and Quality Claims

However, claims such as “best”, “premium”, “luxury”, “high quality” or similar should not mislead customers about the actual product.

30. Price Changes After Purchase
Prices may change after you place an order.
If a product is reduced after your order, DonCapi™ does not automatically refund the difference.
If a promotion starts after your order, it does not automatically apply to your earlier order.
DonCapi™ may choose to offer a goodwill adjustment, but this is not guaranteed.
31. Different Prices on Different Channels
